A personal elephant encounter in a natural environment

Itinerary
Guests are transferred from their accommodation in Victoria Falls town to The Elephant Sanctuary an open thatch boma which has never ending views of the Masuwe River. Here guests will be given an informative presentation regarding the complexities of elephant life
You may talk to guides that have journeyed with the elephants from the sanctuary; learn about the their history and how they came to be at The Elephant Sanctuary and Orphanage as well as the threats facing elephant populations today,
Following the presentation you will venture out into the bush to spend time with the elephant in an up close and personal way. You will have the opportunity to take photographs with the elephants, marvel at their size and watch them behaving normally; browsing and interacting with one another.
After the encounter guests are offered a selection of drinks and snacks before transferring back to Victoria Falls.

Morning and afternoon sessions offered

Scheduled transfers from/to Vic Falls Town/Hotels, an Elephant Encounter
Early morning session: Tea, coffee, soft drinks & breakfast
Mid morning session: Soft drinks, local beer, wine, water, coffee, tea and a selection of hot & cold snacks.
Afternoon session: Soft drinks, local beer, wine, water, coffee, tea and a selection of hot & cold canapés.

Excludes: Items of a personal nature.

Sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses

Comfortable clothing that provides protection from the sun
Closed comfortable shoes like hiking/running shoes
Wear warm clothing in winter (April to August). Layers are best as they can be removed as the day warms ups

Children aged 5 to 12 may participate if accompanied by a parent. Management retains the right to refuse a child, whom they feel is unsuitable for the activity, for any reason.
